Accessibility Statement

Lyon Innovations, LLC (“AtListen,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”) is committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Learning tools should not be the barrier — they should remove them.

This statement describes the accessibility of AtListen, the steps we take to maintain it, the limitations we currently know about, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.

Scope of This Statement

This statement applies to the AtListen website at atlisten.com and to the AtListen web application, including account creation, study set creation, study modes, and account settings (together, the "Website").

It does not cover third-party services that we link to or embed, which are addressed under "Known Limitations" below.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG has three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

AtListen is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We treat WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our working target and are actively remediating the gaps described below.

We do not claim full conformance, and we would rather tell you that plainly than overstate it.

Measures We Take to Support Accessibility

Accessibility is part of how we build, not a step we add at the end. We take the following measures:

• We treat WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the design and development standard for new features.
• We run automated accessibility and design checks against the Website on a nightly basis. These checks render the actual pages in a real browser and evaluate the computed result — including text and interface color contrast, interactive target sizes, and whether every focusable control shows a visible focus indicator when focused.
• We build interactive controls as native, keyboard-operable elements, or give custom controls an equivalent keyboard path, so the Website can be operated without a mouse.
• We size interactive targets to at least 44 by 44 pixels, and we do not rely on hover alone to reveal an action.
• We use text and vector icons with accessible labels rather than emoji or images of text, and we provide text alternatives for non-text content.
• We provide more than one way to get content into the product — typing, pasting, file upload, speech, and link import — so that no single input method is required.
• We reduce or disable non-essential motion for visitors whose browser or operating system requests reduced motion.
• We include accessibility in our review of changes before they are released.

Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology

The Website is designed to be compatible with current versions of major browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Apple Safari, on desktop and mobile, and with the assistive technologies commonly used with them, including screen readers, screen magnification, browser zoom, and speech recognition input.

The Website may not work as well with browsers more than two major versions out of date, or with assistive technology that does not support current web standards.

Technical Specifications

Accessibility of the Website relies on the following technologies working in combination with your browser and any assistive technologies installed on your device:

• HTML
• WAI-ARIA
• CSS
• JavaScript
• SVG

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standard described above. JavaScript is required to use the AtListen application.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We list them here so you know what to expect, and so you can contact us if one of them affects you. We are working to resolve each of them.

• Speech input requires specific browsers. Our speech-to-text and dictation features depend on a browser speech recognition capability that is currently available in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and not in Mozilla Firefox. Where speech input is unavailable, every affected feature also accepts typed text, pasted text, or an uploaded file, so no function of the product is reachable only by speech.
• Some marketing pages use decorative motion. Portions of our homepage use animated and canvas-rendered decorative elements. These are marked as decorative and are accompanied by text alternatives, and we honor reduced-motion preferences in most but not yet all of these elements. No information is conveyed only through animation.
• AI-generated study material varies. Summaries, key concepts, practice questions, and flashcards are generated from content that you supply. We control the structure and presentation of that material, but we cannot guarantee the reading level, phrasing, or clarity of every generated item. If generated content is difficult to use with your assistive technology, please tell us.
• Transcripts of uploaded media are automated. Audio and video that you upload are transcribed automatically. Automated transcription is not perfect, and accuracy varies with audio quality, accent, and background noise. Transcripts are shown to you in an editable field before use so that they can be corrected.
• Third-party content is outside our control. Some parts of the experience are provided by third parties — including payment and billing pages provided by Stripe, sign-in provided by Google, and bot-protection provided by Google reCAPTCHA. We selected vendors that publish their own accessibility commitments, but we do not control their interfaces. If a third-party step blocks you, contact us and we will complete it with you by another means.
• Uploaded documents are not remediated. Files you upload, such as PDFs, are processed for their text content but are not themselves converted into accessible documents.
• No independent audit has been completed. Our current assessment is based on internal review and automated testing, not a formal third-party audit. See "Assessment Approach" below.

Assessment Approach

Lyon Innovations, LLC assessed the accessibility of the Website by the following approaches:

• Self-evaluation — the Website was reviewed internally against WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
• Automated evaluation — the Website is checked nightly by automated tooling that renders the pages in a real browser and reports contrast, target size, focus visibility, and related defects.

We have not yet commissioned an external accessibility audit. We will update this statement if and when that changes.

Feedback and Reporting a Barrier

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of AtListen. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please tell us — including the page or feature involved, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, if you know it.

We try to respond to accessibility feedback within five (5) business days. If you need information or a feature that is presently inaccessible to you, tell us what you need and we will work with you to provide it in an alternative format or by an alternative means at no additional cost to you.

Formal Complaints

If you contact us about an accessibility barrier and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter within our organization by writing to the address above and marking your correspondence "Accessibility — Escalation."

Nothing in this statement limits any right you may have under applicable law, including the Americans with Disabilities Act. Information about rights under the ADA is available from the U.S. Department of Justice at ada.gov.

Review of This Statement

This statement was created on August 8, 2026. We review it at least annually, and whenever we make a significant change to the Website, so that the conformance status and known limitations described above remain accurate.
